A supportive and inclusive secondary school in Maidenhead is looking for a committed Behaviour Mentor to join their student support team this September. The school promotes emotional resilience, positive conduct, and a culture of respect and belonging. With an emphasis on restorative approaches, collaborative working, and ongoing professional growth, this role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference in students' lives. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored behavioural interventions for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Partner with teaching and pastoral teams to develop and evaluate individual behaviour strategies Foster a safe, welcoming, and respectful classroom environment Track behavioural patterns and progress, sharing updates with families and staff Help students build confidence, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills Participate in school-wide wellbeing programmes, mentoring initiatives, and extracurricular activities Ideal Candidate Attributes: Experience working with young people, especially those with behavioural or emotional challenges (preferred but not essential) Demonstrates a calm, compassionate, and resilient approach in demanding situations Strong dedication to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and inclusive learning Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills Willingness to engage in training and contribute to a positive school ethos If you're ready to be a transformative presence in a young person's educational journey, we'd love to hear from you.
