Teaching Assistant - Northampton Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Start Date: April 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term with Potential Permanent Opportunities Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

We are currently working with several supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Northampton that are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants starting in April 2026. These roles offer a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable experience supporting students in a classroom setting.
The Role
* Supporting teachers during lessons across KS3 and KS4 to help students stay engaged with their learning
* Working with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including those with additional learning needs or SEND
* Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour
* Helping students build confidence, independence, and motivation in their studies
* Supporting the wider pastoral and academic support systems within the school

* Has experience working with young people through education, childcare, coaching, youth work, or care settings (helpful but not essential)
