SEN Teacher
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate / September 2025
Contract Type: Full – Time, Permanent

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a skilled SEN Teacher to work in a welcoming and student-focused school based in Bournemouth. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a nurturing educational setting and enjoys helping pupils overcome learning barriers.
Responsibilities of SEN Teacher:
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students’ EHCPs and individual needs
* Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals
* Support academic, social, and emotional development
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to annual reviews
* Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
* Implement behaviour strategies that promote a positive learning atmosphere
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers and provide regular updates on progress
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching children with special educational needs (SEND), preferably in an SEN school or provision.
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and differentiated instruction.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
