Role Overview
You will deliver expert care to patients participating in clinical trials and play a key role in trial coordination, patient safety, and protocol adherence. This includes:
* Planning, implementing, and evaluating research care for oncology patients
* Acting as a key worker for trial participants, offering support throughout their treatment
* Ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical standards
* Collaborating with investigators and multidisciplinary teams
* Monitoring and managing side effects of investigational therapies
* Supporting recruitment and contributing to high‑quality trial delivery
What We’re Looking For
* NMC registration (if applying as a Registered Nurse)
* Minimum 3 years experience in clinical research, including early‑phase trials
* Oncology trials experience – essential
* Chemotherapy competency (SACT Passport) if a Registered Nurse
* Experience in developing clinical pathways and policies
