Chef - Nottingham We're looking for a passionate and organised kitchen professional to lead from the front. In this role you will be responsible for: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards Design and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen Monitor food stock, place orders, and manage inventory Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Control food costs and minimize waste Train and mentor junior kitchen staff Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or Cook Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Creativity and attention to detail Work Environment Restaurants, hotels, catering companies, or private kitchens Requires standing for long hours and working evenings, weekends, and holidays
