Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals Mencap is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our incredible team in Haywards Heath.
We need you to hold a full UK driving licence, the people we support have their own cars and you need to be comfortable driving people to various destinations, ensuring they can access all the places they wish to go.
At our service in Haywards Heath, we support 5 people who share their home. You will provide high-quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities including those with very complex needs. Your role is to help people live as independently as possible and to enjoy a great life.
What we're looking for:
* A genuine passion for supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
. Must hold a UK driving licence
Contract options:
* Full-time: 37.5 hrs
Shift times:
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life
Shifts are between 7am and 10pm.
