Hours: Monday–Thursday 06:00–13:30; Friday 06:00–13:00 / Monday–Thursday 13:15–20:45; Friday 13:00–20:00
Salary: Up to £46,600

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Sutton Coldfield. You'll be maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including manual lathes and milling machines, ensuring production runs smoothly in our established, old-school engineering environment.

The Role
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on workshop machinery
* Fault-finding and repairing mechanical issues on lathes, milling machines, Hydraulics and Pneumatic systems
* Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability projects
* Learning and developing electrical skills to broaden your expertise
About You
* Time-served/qualified in Mechanical Engineering (apprenticeship or equivalent)
* Strong background in mechanical maintenance
* Experience with lathes and milling machines is highly desirable
* Willingness to learn and develop electrical skills
* A problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude
