Technical Product Owner

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to shape the next phase of our Open Banking journey and lead the delivery of resilient, modern, and scalable API solutions.

What you’ll be doing
* Define and communicate the API product strategy and roadmap, aligned to business needs and customer outcomes.
* Act as a bridge between Product Owners, stakeholders, and engineering teams, translating business vision into technical delivery.
* Own and manage the API product backlog – writing user stories, prioritising features, and ensuring clarity for developers.
* Drive continuous testing, monitoring, and optimisation of product performance to meet high standards of resilience and quality.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, align priorities, and influence adoption.
* Stay ahead of industry trends to evaluate and implement modern approaches that improve API products and developer experience.
What we’re looking for
Essential skills
* Proven experience in defining and delivering API product strategy.
* Strong expertise in backlog and lifecycle management, including user story writing and prioritisation.
* Focus on Developer Experience (DX) with an understanding of onboarding, documentation, versioning, and support.
* Technical knowledge of REST, OpenAPI specifications, and authentication methods.
* Ability to translate technical features into clear business value for stakeholders.
* Experience working in Scaled Agile or Lean Product Management environments (e.g. SAFe).
* Play a leading role in shaping the future of Open Banking and digital financial services.
* Gain exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide product strategy.
