Your new role
As a Contract Officer on a 6-month fixed-term contract, you'll support the delivery of a new Carbon Monoxide & Smoke Alarm Project. Working closely with the Contract Manager, you'll coordinate installations, manage contractor relationships, cleanse appliance data, and monitor monthly KPIs. You'll also contribute to wider asset compliance initiatives, including multi-million-pound projects, with a focus on health and safety and CDM regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros). Experience in asset compliance, particularly within social housing, is highly desirable. You'll be confident working independently, with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. A sound understanding of financial controls and statutory compliance will be essential, along with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with contractors.
