This role is ideal for a proactive hunter who thrives in a field-based environment, managing medium-term sales cycles and converting warm and hot leads into commercially significant opportunities. The mission of this role is to drive revenue growth within an allocated territory by onboarding new clients through professional, solution-led engagement with senior decision-makers.
The Business Development Manager is a pure hunter, converting qualified leads into strategic opportunities. You will spend 6080% of your time externally, managing project-based sales cycles typically lasting three to four months through to the agreement of Supply Agreements, Heads of Terms, and formal contracts. This is not a transactional sales role. Once a customer is onboarded, all ongoing account management and administration is handed to internal teams, allowing you to focus entirely on pipeline development and securing new business. Success is measured by new customer acquisition and territory revenue growth.
