Responsibilities
* Working within development teams to test web applications for accessibility across desktop and mobile platforms.
* Conducting accessibility testing of native and hybrid mobile applications (ideally).
* Testing against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using automated and manual testing techniques.
* Working hands on experience with assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, TalkBack, VoiceOver, ZoomText, Dragon, JAWS).
* Using accessibility testing tools (e.g., axe Devtools, CCA, Siteimprove browser extension, Accessibility Insight for Web).
* Collaborate with UX/UI designers to embed accessibility into designs.
* Partner with developers to resolve accessibility issues and optimise code for inclusivity.
* Produce clear, actionable reports and guidance for development teams.
* Identify common accessibility issues and advise/guide individuals and team on accessibility best practice.
Qualifications
* 3+ years industry experience working in accessibility testing roles.
* Demonstrated success working within development teams to test web applications for accessibility across desktop and mobile platforms.
* Experience conducting accessibility testing of native and hybrid mobile applications (ideally).
* Experience testing against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using automated and manual testing techniques.
* Hands on experience with assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, TalkBack, VoiceOver, ZoomText, Dragon, JAWS).
* Proficient in using accessibility testing tools (e.g., axe Devtools, CCA, Siteimprove browser extension, Accessibility Insight for Web).
* Strong understanding of ARIA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
* Collaborated with UX/UI designers to embed accessibility into designs.
* Partnered with developers to resolve accessibility issues and optimise code for inclusivity.
* Produced clear, actionable reports and guidance for development teams.
* Ability to identify common accessibility issues and advise/guide individuals and team on accessibility best practice.
* Understands the impact of accessibility decisions on business performance and efficiency.
* Strong grasp of user‑centred design principles and their application to accessibility.
* In‑depth knowledge of accessibility testing and quality assurance processes.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to guide teams in resolving accessibility challenges.
