McCue Corporation is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Administrator to join our Finance Team. Based in our Milton Keynes office, you'll support the finance function across one of our group companies, with wider involvement in McCue UK and our international operations when required.
This role is essential in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly, from accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and managing the finance inbox. You'll be part of a supportive team where accuracy, organisation, and teamwork make all the difference.
What You'll Do
* Process supplier and intercompany invoices and prepare payment runs.
* Manage accounts receivable – raising invoices, issuing credit notes, and chasing overdue balances.
* Complete daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, credit cards, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Realex, Clover).
* Handle the finance inbox and incoming calls, resolving or escalating queries promptly.
* Support the release of sales orders by confirming prepayments.
* Work with Operations and Purchasing on stock adjustments and GRNI balances.
* Month-end support: Assisting with month-end journals (accruals/prepayments)
* VAT TAX- Assisting with preparation of VAT returns or Intrastat submissions
* Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
* GCSEs / Leaving Certificate (including Maths and English) or equivalent; further accounting qualifications (e.g. AAT, IATI) an advantage.
* 2–5 years' experience in an Accounts / Finance support role.
* Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
* Organised and able to manage high-volume daily banking activity.
* Strong communication skills with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude.
* Must be within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes

: £26,000 – £32,000 per annum (on-site role)
