Position: Qualified Social Workers (Children's)
Salary: £33,699 to £41,771 per annum plus Market Forces Supplement £4,000 per annum. 37 hours per week.
Location: Redditch/Bromsgrove/Kidderminster (Worcestershire)
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
Full‑time post of 37 hours per week.
The Families First team seeks exceptional candidates focused on facilitating positive outcomes for children and young people within Worcestershire.
You will be part of a friendly, innovative multi‑disciplinary team with the key priority of building on existing strengths within the family to manage times of crisis or emerging challenges.
Assess the needs of children and families, identify and manage risk, and help develop a plan to increase safety and meet needs.
Work directly with children and their families in their own homes, and carry out direct work with children in other environments such as schools.
Build a positive working relationship with children and families to ensure the plan of support progresses.
Coordinate with internal and external partners integral to plans.
Work alongside Outreach Workers, Money Mentor, Family Support Worker, Youth Mentor, Substance Misuse, Emotional Health/Wellbeing Workers, Family Decision Coordinators and Advanced Social Work Practitioners.
Location & Travel
All roles will have a base within their patch; county‑wide travel may be required on occasion.
