Senior Test Engineer
Play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge PCB assemblies for our customers. This role is not a software role.
Responsibilities
* Testing and diagnosing customer products to company and industry standards
* Supporting external customers with technical queries in a timely manner
* Reporting work status to Production Test leadership
* Maintaining accurate test data sets
* Carrying out fault diagnosis to component level
* Programming devices to customer specifications
* Providing mentor-type support to less experienced / skilled team members
* Supporting Team Leaders and Department Managers with technical expertise
Requirements
* Minimum HNC in Electronics Engineering (Preferred Electronics Degree min 2:1)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fast-moving electronics manufacturing environment
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and schematics
* Ability to identify components
* Demonstrates proactive approach
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Flexible and proactive approach
* Good communication skills; written and verbal
* Ability to mentor
* Excellent diagnostic skills
