Job Description
* Plan, develop and execute a range of events that align with the organisation's objectives.
* Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth operation of events.
* Manage budget allocation and ensure events are delivered within financial parameters.
* Coordinate with marketing team to promote events and drive attendance.
* Ensure all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and technical requirements are managed effectively.
* Track event outcomes and provide post-event reports for review.
* Identify opportunities for new events and initiatives that support the organisation's mission.
* Ensure all events adhere to health and safety regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Events Manager should have:
* A degree in Event Management, Marketing or a related field.
* Proven experience in managing and delivering successful events.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
* Proficiency in budget management and financial planning.
* A strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
