About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both teaching staff and students, helping to deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and age groups. You’ll assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, and provide one-to-one or group support tailored to learners’ individual needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with lesson planning and resource preparation
Supporting learning activities in whole-class, small group, and individual settings
Monitoring and evaluating student progress
Providing pastoral care and emotional support for pupils
Collaborating closely with teaching staff to help every learner reach their full potential
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 3 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including English and Maths
A Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
Prior experience supporting students in a classroom environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A caring, empathetic approach to student wellbeing and development
