As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Regional HR and Recruitment Officer to join our team and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and reliable HR professional to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our company by helping to provide a full range of HR services across SOCOTEC UK. You will embody our core behaviours of integrity, curiosity, warmth, and ambition. As a member of the HR Team, it is key that you are able to work independently, as well as working efficiently as part of a team.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
To lead the HR and support recruitment functions across multiple Scottish sites.
To manage key HR initiatives and business change projects, including TUPE transfers.
To deliver an effective recruitment and onboarding strategy aligned with operational needs.
To partner with local management in delivering a strong people agenda that supports business growth
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Experience supporting business growth through M&A or restructuring
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data to guide decisions
Commercial awareness and ability to align HR strategies with business goals
About Central Services
Based in Burton-on-Trent, SOCOTEC UK’s Head Office houses our Central Services Teams. These Teams provide a corporate structure to support the wider business. Central Services is broken down into four main areas: Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and IT. Each of these areas is vital to the day-to-day running of SOCOTEC.
