The Role

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Engineering, specialising in Machining and CNC, to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of engineering talent and contribute to a vibrant, forward-thinking academic community.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

As a Lecturer in Engineering with a focus on Machining and CNC, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching and support to our students. Your main responsibilities will include:

* Delivering and managing inclusive, engaging, high-standard learning and assessments in engineering.
* Providing targeted guidance to support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression.
* Utilising B&FC’s digital and in-person teaching tools (e.g., VLE, tracking software) to enhance student success.
* Contributing to the academic community through ongoing research, scholarship, and professional practice.
