Job Purpose
Hyderabad Analysis team consists of SMEs with varied experience levels in Local, Global and Piping analysis disciplines. This team caters to both local and global business needs. Team’s purpose is to provide timely reliable analysis expertise for project and product engineering requirements. Level of expertise required is dynamic. Focus is on the following main areas.
1. Sales order project execution
2. New Product development
3. Field issues
4. New process development
5. Standardization efforts
Job Description
This is lead analysis engineer role and is based in Hyderabad. The role requires to perform FEA analysis of subsea production system and Surface Equipment products. Analyst creates, reviews and analyzes designs to ensure compliance to technical specifications, functionality and constructability. Responsible for guiding a group of analysts. Needs to take part in design review meetings as an analysis expert.
• Provides the highest level of expertise on technical-technological solutions and engineering innovations.
• Defines engineering solutions
• Identifies and analyses risks associated with engineering tasks.
• Efficiently contributes to the client relations through presentations, meetings, interfaces, etc.
• Supports the knowledge development within the discipline by providing guidance, trainings and mentoring to engineers.
• Esures that engineering documents meet the general quality requirements, codes, and standards.
• Ensures that the discipline engineering deliverables are compliant with contract requirements (including budget), project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC and discipline engineering processes and standards.
• Approves design basis and coordinates design activities within discipline (including sub-contractors activities).
• Interfaces with other Lead Engineers and project functions
You are meant for this job if:
6. BE or MTech in Mechanical Engineering
7. Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience with background in analyzing subsea/surface equipment preferred
8. Ansys tool knowledge is must
9. Knowledge of industry specific design codes like ASME, API, DNV, NORSK and ISO
10. Experience in Oil and Gas equipment finite element analysis
11. Should be able to do hands-on Finite Element analysis
12. Experience in high pressurized equipment/Boiler vessels/Heavy Engineering
13. Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods
14. Proficient in Non-Linear analysis
15. Proficient in Structural and Thermal analysis
16. Experience with welded and bolted structure analysis
17. Must be able to work hands-on and guide team members
18. Must be able to estimate, plan and meet individual work requirements
19. Should be able to perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements
20. Must be able to participate in technical review meetings and discussions
21. Must be able to write, review and approve technical reports and documents
22. Ensure lessons learnt and best practices are captured adequately into Analysis techniques, project / product design.
