Corporate Tax Manager & Senior Manager - M&A
Edinburgh, Glasgow or Newcastle
Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
We are currently working with lead independent accountancy firm across the UK who are looking to make a new hire in their corporate tax advisory team.
The role:
* Growth Opportunity: Join a growing team advising on tax implications of various transactions.
* Client-Centric Role: Work closely with clients on acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, and reorganisations.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Technical Tax Advice: Provide advice on mergers & acquisitions, exits, refinancing, equity raising, debt raising, and business reorganisation.
* Due Diligence: Support tax due diligence assignments.
* Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client and intermediary relationships.
* Collaboration: Work with colleagues across various tax and finance disciplines.
* Legislation Monitoring: Keep abreast of tax legislation changes and communicate impacts.
* Team Development: Train and coach junior colleagues.
About You:
* Experience: Assistant Manager grade or above in corporate tax (compliance background considered)
* Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in work and professional learning.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills to influence and impact others positively.
* Qualifications: CA and/or CTA (or equivalent) is essential.
* Management: Experience in line management or coaching in an advisory setting is desirable.
