Job title: Care Lead/Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will manage support workers supporting individuals living in their own homes in Epsom, Surrey. You will have access to career progression opportunities, sector-leading training, and job stability.
Our service specializes in providing person-centered care for adults with forensic mental health backgrounds, challenging behaviors, learning disabilities, and autism to help them participate actively in their community. We are looking for motivated individuals capable of handling high-stress situations who seek a rewarding role making a difference.
The Reigate Road service is conveniently located an 8-minute walk from Ewell East train station and offers on-site parking.
Requirements
* Experience as a team leader in the care sector
* Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, autism, challenging behaviors, and learning disabilities
* Ability to support, motivate, and develop staff, including conducting supervisions, appraisals, leading team meetings, and inductions
* Leading by example and responding to incidents
* Computer literacy
* Knowledge of current CQC/sector regulations and legislation
* Flexibility with shifts to meet service needs
* Strong values and a person-centered approach
* Enthusiastic, resilient, energetic, and proactive attitude
* Resilience and determination to overcome challenges
* Prepared to work with individuals exhibiting challenging or risky behaviors
* Commitment to personal and professional development
* Possession of, or willingness to complete, a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care
* Full UK driving license
