Yeovil College is looking for an inspiring and knowledgeable Teacher Trainer Lecturer to join us on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support and develop future educators through high-quality Teacher Education programmes, apprenticeships and professional development courses within a supportive and ambitious college environment.
In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team shaping and delivering an inspiring Teacher Education curriculum that prepares the next generation of educators for successful careers in Post Compulsory and Further Education teaching. You will bring learning to life through engaging, inclusive and well-planned delivery across a range of programmes, including apprenticeships, ensuring every learner is supported, challenged and motivated to achieve their very best. You will actively track progress, uphold high standards, and embed equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of your practice, while working closely with colleagues and external partners to strengthen curriculum delivery and maximise impact. What we're looking for:
1. Proven expertise in Further Education teaching, including Teacher Education programmes and apprenticeships (Levels 3–5)
2. Experience delivering to both FE and adult learners, with strong learner engagement and achievement outcomes
3. Strong background in curriculum development, planning, delivery, assessment, and learner tracking/target setting
4. Ability to tutor, support and motivate learners through high-quality teaching and pastoral guidance
5. Confident use of ILT and technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment
6. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a flexible, innovative and team-focused approach to education delivery

7. Actual Salary: £15,483 up to £19,958
8. Part-time position, 18.5 hours per week, all year round.
