Procurement Manager
Growing FMCG-Food Brand
£60,000 plus bonus & package
central London (Hybrid - 3 days pw)
Our Client
Our client is an exciting, fast paced and growing consumer Food-FMCG brand. They are at the forefront within innovation, creating a number of well known consumer products related to the food sector.
The role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, this is a newly created role and will be both strategic and hands on. You will work closely with a range of senior stakeholders and be responsible for leading the procurement across all categories. There is lots of long term career progression, an opportunity to travel and the ability to work with exciting brands.
Responsibilities include;
* Lead the procurement across various ingredients, packaging and 3rd party manufacturing.
* Building long term and strategic relationships with global suppliers.
* Working closely with the technical and NPD team, to support new menu product launches.
* Managing a wide range of internal stakeholders including the senior leadership team.
* Leading and negotiating on various supplier contracts.
* Ensuring 'procurement best practice' is implemented.
Required experience
* 6 + years of procurement experience from within the FMCG sector
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Strong project management and communication skills
* A passion for the consumer sector!
