Get to Know This RoleThe Onsite Events Coordinator plays a dynamic role within our events team, responsible for orchestrating onsite events that align with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.'s values and enhance the company's reputation in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the Onsite Events Manager, this role supports the logistics, execution, and organization of live entertainment, banquets, and private events across SNBC's Chico facilities, ensuring seamless operations and great guest experiences. The Onsite Events Coordinator collaborates with internal teams and external partners to deliver unique events. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating authentic, high-energy experiences while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and local and state alcohol laws and regulations.What's In It For YouWe’re committed to our employees and work hard to prove it. 1. Serve as the primary point of contact for artists and deliver exceptional production experiences by managing artist hospitality, green rooms, merchandise, guest lists, settlement, contracted engineers, and security.
2. Plan and execute all aspects of onsite events in coordination with the Onsite Events Manager and Onsite Events Supervisor, including staging, technical production (audio, lighting, backline), load-in, load-out, and day-of logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
3. Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring flawless execution, giving staff direction, adherence to timelines, and compliance with food, beverage, and safety regulations.
4. Manage administrative tasks, including contracts, riders, financial documents, advance sheets, and event signage.
5. Assist in planning and executing private events and banquets, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure customized events meet guest expectations and SNBC brand standards.
6. Oversee ticketing operations (e.g., Eventbrite), handling event links, guest inquiries, ticket equipment, and sales reconciliation.
7. Maintain and manage inventory for audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
8. Support cash handling and financial reconciliation processes for events.
9. Scheduled shifts will vary based on events and business needs, and require the ability to work evenings, weekends, early mornings and holidays
Please Apply if You Have
10. 2 years of experience, or any combination of the following, in food and beverage operations, event coordination, live production, or hospitality required
11. Experience in live music production, entertainment production, music, television, film, sports, live events, and festivals preferred
12. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage logistics for live entertainment, private events, and banquets in a fast-paced environment.
13. General understanding of event planning, production workflows, and hospitality, with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.
14. Outstanding communication skills to coordinate with clients, artists, vendors, and staff, providing clear direction and professional correspondence.
15. Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical and logistical challenges during events, ensuring seamless execution.
16. Proven customer service expertise, responding to guest inquiries and feedback with urgency and professionalism to enhance event quality.
17. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, for event planning, reporting, and administrative documentation.
18. Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions under pressure to meet event timelines and standards.
19. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, including health codes and responsible alcohol service, to ensure compliance during events.
20. Consistent record of reliable, prompt attendance, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
21. Passion for SNBC’s brand, with a commitment to creating authentic, high-quality event experiences.
