In this Role of Intervention Teacher: Plan and deliver small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions in core subjects. Identify learning gaps and create tailored programmes to accelerate progress. Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to align intervention strategies with curriculum goals. Track pupil progress, maintain accurate assessment records, and adjust interventions where needed. Use creative methods to engage learners, build confidence, and foster independent learning skills. What You’ll Bring as an Intervention Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification. Experience delivering academic interventions within a school setting. Strong understanding of differentiation, assessment, and evidence-based intervention strategies. Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to motivate learners. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
