Key Responsibilities
* Provide a caring, nurturing environment for children aged (appropriate age range) in a 2-bed Ofsted-registered children’s home
* Support children with daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and engaging in normal home activities
* Plan and participate in outings, holidays, and leisure activities to promote their development and happiness
* Complete daily records and documentation, including care plans and progress reports
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in line with policies and safeguarding legislation
Requirements
* Genuine passion for supporting children and young people’s futures
* High resilience, empathy, and a caring attitude
* Flexibility to work 24/7, including sleep-in shifts (full rota examples available on request)
* Good literacy and administrative skills for record-keeping and planning
* Full UK Driving Licence (automatic cars provided for shifts)
* Commitment to safeguarding, including undergoing an enhanced DBS check
