The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of technical project elements. This role includes mentoring project engineers, ensuring engineering tasks meet compliance and safety standards, and supporting successful project execution. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and department leads to meet programme and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Review bid documents, contracts, and client specifications.
* Ensure engineering output meets project and safety standards.
* Maintain project structures and specifications throughout delivery.
* Manage work breakdown and ensure timely, aligned engineering deliverables.
* Prioritise and track engineering workload in line with project schedules.
* Provide regular progress updates to project teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* HNC in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)
* Background in bulk material handling projects
* Strong knowledge of construction/process industry standards
* Understanding of control systems and change management
