This firm has built a strong reputation over thirty years and offers a broad advisory and compliance service to an ambitious and varied client base. The role In this position you will take responsibility for a developing portfolio of clients and support a wide range of accounting and tax work. Typical duties include Accounts production for sole traders partnerships limited companies and not for profit organisations Preparation of tax computations Responding to incoming client queries Management accounts and VAT returns Managing your own workflow and meeting deadlines RequirementsThe ideal candidate will bring AAT qualification or equivalent as a minimum and progression toward ACCA or ACA Previous experience within an accountancy practice A collaborative approach with strong drive and work ethic Ability to manage pressure and deliver to tight deadlines Confident communication skills and a personable manner Good working knowledge of Excel Xero Sage QuickBooks and CCH Xero certification is welcome but not essential A driving licence and access to your own transport BenefitsSalary 30,000 to 40,000 depending on experience Hours 36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexible and hybrid working Holiday 23 days annual leave excluding bank holidays rising by one day for each year of service up to a maximum of 28 days Please contact Mark Sitton on (phone number removed),, or via for a confidential conversation.
