Fire Engineer – Up to £50,000 (full-time) – Remote with Office Flexibility – Essex, SS17 9AL The Role Do you have a strong grasp of fire safety regulations and experience in producing detailed fire strategy reports? Founded by an ex-Firefighter, we are on a mission to save lives and protect properties through proactive fire safety. We’re looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to join our fire safety team. You’ll be responsible for producing fire strategy reports and carrying out fire risk assessments across a broad range of properties. While this role can be performed remotely, you’ll need to attend our Essex office (SS17 9AL) periodically. Key Responsibilities: Create fire strategy reports that align with BS 9999, BS 7974, and Approved Document B Conduct fire risk assessments (Types 1–4) for residential, commercial and industrial properties Develop technical documents including fire safety statements and evacuation plans Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues Complete reports accurately and on time, in line with company policy and current legislation Meet agreed KPIs About us Out client was born in 2015 when it’s Director, an ex-Firefighter realised that lives, homes and businesses were at risk due to the poor provision of Fire Safety products.
