We’re looking for a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic secondary school in Rotherham. You’ll be part of a supportive team working with pupils who need a little extra help to thrive.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 or small-group support for students with SEND
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to support learning plans
* Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive routines
* Creating a safe, structured learning environment that meets individual needs
About you:
* Experience working with young people with additional needs (school or care settings welcome)
* A calm, patient approach with strong communication skills
* Ability to adapt quickly and bring positivity into the classroom
* Bonus points if you’ve had Thrive or de-escalation training (and if not, we’ll get you booked on for free!)
