Our Quantitative Analyst (QA) – Credit Flow team is seeking a talented individual to join a high-impact group working at the intersection of trading and technology. You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team embedded within the Credit Trading business, working directly with traders to develop tools, conduct quantitative analysis, and enhance infrastructure. The Quant Desk Strat role focuses on liquid, traditional credit trading products within the Flow Credit division, providing exposure to real trading desk challenges and decision-making.
Essential Skills:
* Strong programming skills, especially in Python.
* Willingness to work closely with traders, solve real-business problems, and own solutions end-to-end.
* Interest in financial mathematics, preferably with financial services experience.
* Pragmatic, hands-on approach – comfortable working in Excel and legacy environments initially.
Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of object-oriented design and ability to write clean, scalable code.
* Experience with financial markets or trading environments.
* Interest in developing complete tools, beyond just backend models.
* Experience with .NET (C#), Excel, VBA.
This role is based in London and may involve assessments on risk, controls, change management, business acumen, strategic thinking, and technical skills.
