Interim Senior HR Business Partner
Location: South Birmingham (3 days on site, 2 days from home)
Contract Length: c3-6 months
Day rate: £500 per day inside of IR35
About the Role
I am partnering with a large-scale organisation that is embarking on a significant period of organisational change. They are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to work closely with the CTO and senior technology leadership to review and reshape the current operating model, ensuring it is fully aligned to future strategic and transformation objectives.
This is a critical interim appointment, ideal for a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in organisation design, operating model review, and change leadership within complex, fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a full review of the Technology function’s operating model, working in close partnership with the CTO.
* Design and deliver OD and organisation-design initiatives to strengthen team capability, structure, and effectiveness.
* Provide strategic HR counsel to senior leaders, supporting both immediate priorities and long-term transformation.
* Drive people-focused elements of wider business transformation programmes, ensuring seamless alignment across workstreams.
* Analyse workforce data, skills gaps, and future requirements to inform recommendations and decision-making.
* Support cultural development, leadership effectiveness, and change adoption across the function.
About You
* Proven experience in a Senior HRBP, OD, or People Transformation role within large or matrixed organisations.
* Demonstrable track record of leading OD/operating model design within technology or complex corporate services environments.
* Highly credible, influential, and comfortable challenging senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision-making.
* Able to thrive in environments undergoing rapid change, ambiguity, or growth.
* Immediately available or on short notice.
