About MoneyGram Haas F1 Team
2025 marks the tenth season of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We are a pioneering team, the first American F1 team since 1986, with a strong history of growth and competitive performance, including a memorable debut in 2016 and our second-best season to date.
We operate from three headquarters—Kannapolis (US), Banbury (UK), and Maranello (Italy)—each staffed by passionate and dedicated team members. Known as the ‘family team,’ we value collaboration, visibility, and contribution across all levels.
Position Overview
Based in Maranello, Italy, this role reports to the Head of Composite Design. It involves planning and strategy for component development and race introduction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Design and develop F1 car components.
3. Continuously improve component design focusing on performance.
4. Assist in workload planning for the composite design group.
5. Contribute to concept development related to composite design.
6. Liaise with the Race Team on reliability and design revisions.
7. Conduct research and development activities.
8. Follow all safety regulations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional motorsports environment, with design experience and some FEA knowledge.

Tools and Applications
* Computers, hand tools, CATIA 3DX, Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment
Must work effectively in high-pressure settings, with flexibility for travel and long hours, including weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and working around machinery, fluids, and race cars, all in compliance with health and safety policies.
