Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Group Leader to provide person centred support to children, young people and adults with a disability. 38 hours per week Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team and provision
* Planning and delivering outcome focused support
* Provide all aspects of personalised support to meet an individual's needs
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults in your care at all times.
* Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
* Address any concerns or issues that arise promptly and professionally.
* To think creatively to ensure each individual who accesses the group achieves their identified learning outcomes
* Complete weekly planning for each individual service user
* To effectively coordinate a staff team to best meet the needs of each individual who accesses the provision.
* Supervise and Line manage a staff team.
* Manage and supervise group provisions ensuring the provision runs efficiently.
* Maintain excellent and accurate communication between the workforce and management.
* Ensure the correct level of personalised support is provided to our service users.
* Support and adhere to the company policies and procedures for safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, responding appropriately to any safeguarding concerns.
* Assist the management team in monitoring expenditure against budgets.
* Attend essential training.
* Attending team meetings and other meetings as required by the management team.
* Attend and organise marketing events alongside management.
* Responsible for checking evaluation, behaviour, and other relevant forms.
* Drive Taylor Support vehicles if and as required.
* Due to the needs of the service, flexibility around working hours may be required and may occasionally be out of normal working hours.
* Other duties as requested by the management team.
Experience
* A desire to make a difference.
* Previous experience of working with Children and Adults with a Disability.
* Experience of planning person centred support activities.
* Commitment to professional and personal development.
* IT competent with experience of Microsoft Office Programmes.
* Able to commit to a flexible work pattern which may include some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
* Effective listening and verbal communication.
* Excellent time management and work in a highly organised manner.
* Be flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings.
* Be compassionate, nurturing and understanding.
* Be self-motivated and committed to the role and this area of work.

Preferred
* Experience of a leadership role including the coordination and supervision of staff.
* Obtained a Level 3 in Health & Social Care and/or Childcare and/or Disability Specific (or equivalent)
* Understanding of alternative communication methods such as Makaton and PECS.
* Hold a current Full UK Driving licence and have own vehicle with business insurance and willing to drive company vehicles.

Pay: £25,757.20-£28,729.10 per year
