Job Description
As a Transport Administrator based in Middlewich, you will work Monday to Friday shift pattern on the afternoon shift (12:00 - 20:00), be responsible for managing and coordinating transport activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and providing exceptional customer service and support to colleagues and clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You must demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
* General administration duties in line with transport legislation, company policy and procedures
* Assist, report and work with the Transport Management team
* Ensure good standards of Health and Safety processes are followed by yourself and the team
* Assist with the management of vehicle defects through the VOR process
* Administration of the movement of vehicles and associated activities
* Undertake all activities in line with KPI requirements and SLA’s
* Track and support the organisation of servicing on time in accordance with procedures
* Deal with defects and maintenance of fleet
* Issue correct paperwork and book out drivers from the transport department
* Track vehicles and deliveries
* Face‑to‑face interaction with drivers during pre‑briefs and de‑briefs
* Continuously monitor the in‑house and third‑party management software systems, ensuring compliance with key system requirements
* Ensure compliance with all company, statutory and health and safety obligations
* Work closely with key operational partners including other departments, depots and customer locations
* Other site administration as and when required

Experience, Skills and Attributes
* Team player
* Understanding of IT, Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel & MS Outlook
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Flexible, adaptable and able to think rationally under pressure
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
* Prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets and service level agreements
Desired
* Previous experience in the logistics sector, desirable but not essential
* Understanding of transport regulations and requirements
* Understanding of transport systems vision, telematics
* Proven experience of dealing with maintenance suppliers to ensure fast and effective service levels
