Responsibilities
* Promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect, while supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing and contributing during shift handovers.
* Lead the team to provide high‑standard care for residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
* Support carers in providing personal care and assistance with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* Administer medication.
Qualifications
* Minimum of one year experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., minimum Level 3 in Health and Social Care).
* Understanding of prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of signs of abuse, and procedures to follow in case of an allegation.
* Awareness and experience of Person‑Centred Care Planning (including writing person‑centred care plans).
* Full driving licence and own car.
* Live within 30 minutes of the home.
* Leadership and people skills, including conducting effective person‑centred one‑to‑one sessions.
* Ability to work under pressure with time‑management skills.
* Positive, nurturing attitude and enthusiastic outlook.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to undertake extra training as required.

Working Hours & Location
Full‑time permanent contract (7am‑7pm). Shifts rotate: 3 shifts one week, 4 the next, including alternate weekends.
