My client a law firm are looking to hire a HR Coordinator for an asap start, on a permanent basis. Working as one of 2 Coordinators you would take responsibility for supporting the fee earner side of the business. The ideal candidate will have a background in the legal sector.
In this role you will be:
1. Managing the full employee lifecyle
2. Ensuring staff records are kept up to date using the HRIS
3. Tracking probation periods and liaising with managers
4. Preparing offer letters and employment contracts
5. Scheduling right to work checks and manging the screening process
6. Setting up exit interviews
7. Supporting with Payroll Manager with payroll and benefits administration
8. On an adhoc basis assisting with scheduling interviews and managing the comms between candidates, agencies and hiring amnagers
9. Act as the first POC for HRIS system queries
10. Assisting in reviewing and updating HR policies
11. Arranging meetings and taking minutes for formal and informal employee relations issues
To carry out this role you must have:
12. Experience in the legal or professional services sectors
13. Be available on a short notice, no longer than a month
14. 2-3 years recent HR Experience
15. Excellent attention to detail
16. comfortable working in a London office up to 3 days a week
17. Able to work in the office 5 days a week for you first 6 weeks
