Job Description
* Call of frameworks for direct awards, including CCS/G-Cloud frameworks
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet their IT needs
* Support the wider team and contribute to the overall IT category
* Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT category
* Manage supplier relationships and contracts effectively
* Ensure compliance with the Public Contract Regulations
* Manage risk within the IT category effectively
* Ensure the provision of high-quality IT goods and services
The Successful Applicant
A successful IT Category Manager should have:
* IT Category experience
* Experience using CCS/G-Cloud frameworks
* Local Authority experience is preferred
* Have an understanding of governance
* Experience in the Public Sector, using PCR2015
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
* Experience liaising with difficult clients and being able to push expectations
