Senior Building Surveyor An employee focused, multi-disciplinary, chartered surveying consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor with a desire to move towards an Associate position. This role gives the Surveyor genuine project leadership and independence. Hybrid minimum 3 days per week in the North London office when not on site. The Senior Building Surveyors role The successful Senior Building Surveyor will take full ownership of projects, delivering a broad range of work across various sectors including cladding, remediation, retrofit, estate wide regeneration, rooftop development, and traditional building work. Day to day, the successful Senior Building Surveyor will be: Advising on construction, renovation, and compliance with building regulations Leading and delivering projects from inception to completion Overseeing all project elements including financials Preparing detail reports from site inspections Be client facing Begin taking on more managerial tasks with the view of moving into an Associate role The Senior Building Surveyor 5 years Building Surveying experience MRICS or close to chartership - would be desirable Strong technical knowledge Comfortable delivering projects independently Very solid base in Contract Administration, JCT Contracts, two-stage tendering etc Hold a RICS accredited degree Strong communication skills and self-confidence In Return? £70,000 - £80,000 Pension 26 days holiday Bank Holidays Private Health Care Extensive professional Training support RICS subscription fee Flexible working (up to 2 days WFH) On-site gym Excellent career progression opportunities If you are a Building Surveyor considering your career opportunities, please contact Tom Harrison at Foster & May.
