The successful applicants will be employed to manage and deliver on RB Holiday Camps during the school holidays across the West Midlands region supporting the governments healthy active fund initiative. The position relies on the applicant to supervise and lead sport and physical activity sessions to children as well as manage a small team of coaches ensuring a fully compliant, safe, and well organised camp venue. There is scope for the right candidate to secure continued employment.
This role is across the Dudley Sandwell Kidderminster Birmingham venues
Key responsibilities
* To prepare, deliver and evaluate well-structured and progressive physical activity sessions programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable experience centred around the needs of the participants
* To take positive steps to identify and overcome barriers to participation amongst children, prioritising access, and inclusion
* Manage children's behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment
* To carry out duties in accordance with RB Holiday Camps and awarding organisation policies, including equal opportunities, child protection and health and safety.
* To attend appropriate professional development
* To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in sport and physical activity.
