In 2005, Dacsa acquired a corn mill in Liverpool, below are the productsmade at the mill. Dacsa Liverpool is the largest dry corn mill in Europe and we work closely with our customers to build long lasting partnerships. As part of this process we have projects with our major customers to help them grow some of their product lines in the UK. This is in the early stages but could see additional lines installed at the site.
Overview
A world class company, recognised as a multi-award winning manufacturer, providing world class OEE standards and innovative processes. This company are offering a Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, reporting into the Engineering Site Manager. The role will provide the right person the opportunity to develop and grow both personally and within the operational environment. This company champions internal development and both the Engineering Manager and Plant Manager have worked their way up from being on-the-tools.
Key Responsabilities
Working predominantly as the electrical maintenance technician within a small team, you will ideally have experience of fast paced manufacturing environments with an electrical bias, with sound working knowledge of both sides of engineering.
* Work in partnership with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
* Electrically biased but mechanically capable.
* Working within a challenging environment, getting stuck in and involved in ‘dirty’ tasks.
* Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
* Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
* Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
Person Requirements
* Time served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
* Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
* Experience with PLC's (Siemens and Schneider)
* Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
* Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency
