GSL Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of supportive schools across Bolsover. This role is ideal for Cover Supervisor (CS), working with young people who are looking to gain classroom experience before entering teacher training.
As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising whole classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Reporting back to senior staff on student progress and any concerns.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
* Have previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
* Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Be flexible, confident, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
