The Biologics Regional Innovation and Technology Ecosystem (BRITE) Project
This 3-year initiative, funded by Research England, aims to establish a robust biologics innovation ecosystem across the Liverpool City Region and the Northern Powerhouse. Focusing on monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and complex medicines, the project will enhance collaboration between academic institutions and industry partners, accelerating the development and commercialization of biologics-based health technologies.
Lead the future of biologics innovation as Programme Lead!
As the Biologics Innovation Ecosystem Programme Lead, you will provide strategic leadership and coordinate the BRITE programme.
You will oversee the successful delivery of the programme’s objectives, ensuring alignment with institutional and regional innovation priorities. You will manage programme governance, reporting, and ensure delivery against key performance indicators.
Acting as the central contact for the BRITE initiative, you will engage with senior academic, industry, and policy stakeholders to develop a strong biologics innovation ecosystem, with a focus on monoclonal antibodies and advanced medicines. You will also support embedding innovation and enterprise practices across LSTM to foster long-term institutional and regional impact.
