Us
Crafted is a series of life-friendly hotels and spaces
where guests can be themselves and fill up on the good stuff: nature, food,
wellbeing, craft, people and play. We hope to open several hotels in the coming
years, with our first coming in summer 2025: Crafted at Powdermills, East
Sussex.

You
Crafted’s culture will be inclusive and agile but with

As Demi Chef de Partie you will support the Chef de
Partie in running a designated kitchen section. This role includes food
preparation, cooking, maintaining hygiene standards, and helping train junior
staff. The Demi Chef must maintain high food quality, consistency, and
presentation while working efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to
the required standards in assigned section (e.g. grill, pastry, sauce,
etc.)
* Assist the Chef de Partie in managing
daily kitchen operations
* Ensure portion and waste control to
maintain food cost targets
* Follow recipes and presentation
standards set by the Head Chef
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in
compliance with food safety standards (HACCP)
* Monitor inventory and report shortages
or wastage
* Train and supervise Commis Chefs and
Kitchen Assistants as needed
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to
ensure smooth service

Ensure that all mise en place is prepared
ahead of service
