Job Title: Maintenance Professional (Temporary/Part-Time)
Job Description
Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector? We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance professional to support a school site team on an ongoing temporary basis. The role involves carrying out general maintenance and site work.
Previous experience in School Maintenance or as a Caretaker is preferred but not essential. The position offers both full-time and part-time hours throughout the school year, with varying durations. There may also be an opportunity to transition to a permanent contract, although this is not guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform general maintenance tasks and litter picking
2. Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
3. Open and close the school building
4. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency
5. Set alarms and security systems
Requirements
You must be available to start immediately and be flexible with working hours, as shift work may be required.
