We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate counselling professional to join our team as Student Counsellor. The right candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting our student mental health and wellbeing strategy across the school. This is a chance to shape and develop our counselling service and make a real difference in the lives of young people in our community.
You will provide high-quality counselling services and maintain a proactive, supportive environment for students. Your role includes managing a caseload, delivering varied therapeutic interventions, innovating mental health provision and keeping accurate and well documented records. You’ll be able to work independently, but will collaborate closely with both the Safeguarding, Inclusion and SEN teams.

You will be able to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure that students access the right support at the right time, advising the safeguarding team where you feel a student requires additional specialist support.

We are looking for a full time School counsellor to join the team, working 37 hours per week, term time, plus inset days.
