I'm delighted to be partnered with a market leading chemical manufacturing business who are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team in Alfreton. This role offers an attractive package of £65,000 - £75,000 ( 15% bonus & car allowance). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance team, ensuring the upkeep of equipment, and responding to breakdowns efficiently. What you'll do: As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's facility, overseeing all preventative and reactive aspects of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance. Your duties will include Coordinate the maintenance team for general/preventative maintenance & upkeep of equipment Respond to breakdowns & requests for repairs from Production Manager, Production Supervisors & Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Develop preventative & service schedules for equipment & ensure compliance with safety, environmental, legal & quality standards Supervise & assign the work of Maintenance Engineers ensuring they are qualified & trained for all designated tasks Maintain the site according to COMAH & IPPC directives following the Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) process Ensure that the Permit to Work system is implemented & maintained at all times Manage health and safety of Maintenance team during repairs/installations and breakdowns What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Manager role brings a wealth of experience in electrical/mechanical engineering/maintenance & repair.
