Job Overview
We are seeking passionate Art teachers to join our team and contribute to the success of our holiday camps. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, a creative approach to Arts education, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging Art workshops and activities.
2. Build positive relationships with children and young people, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere.
3. Encourage active participation and provide guidance and support as needed.
4. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and ensure the safety and well-being of all children and young people in your care.
5. Represent LMP Action positively and contribute to the organisation's presence in the community.
Qualifications
About you
1. PGCE (or equivalent, qualified or in training)
2. Previous experience working with children and young people, particularly in a workshop or camp setting.
3. Strong delivery skills.
4. Knowledge of safeguarding principles and practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Commitment to providing enriching opportunities for children.
Requirements
1. Enhanced DBS check (Essential).
2. First Aid certification (Preferred but not essential).
