What you’ll need to succeed:
We are looking for a CMM Programmer or Quality Engineer who wants to elevate themselves by becoming a trainer and applications engineer in the globally recognised, PC-DMIS software platform. This role gives you the opportunity to also work with other market leading software platforms such as Polyworks.
Candidates must have a background in engineering, be IT literate, commercially minded, ideally PC-DMIS or PolyWorks trained and possess a valid driving license with no more than 6 points. Experience of GD&T is beneficial, but not a prerequisite. We work with clients that operate to the highest security standards, to work here you’ll need to be a British National and normally to have resided in the UK for the past ten years. Successful candidates will need security clearance.
We’re looking for an excellent communicator who’s adaptable and eager to learn, try new things, and travel. Although primarily office-based, training courses, sales demonstrations, and business reviews are regularly delivered at clients' locations. Overnight stays and client visits are fully subsidised by the company, including a vehicle and all fuel. We anticipate an engineer's workload will result in around five weeks out of the office this year, but this may increase or decrease depending on the workload.
What you'll get in return:
* From 35,000+ pa (Negotiable depending on experience).
* An enviable monthly and quarterly performance-related bonus.
* A Monday to Friday working week.
* OEM Training in PC DMIS and PolyWorks to help support building your skills.
* Increasing annual holiday allowance – up to 28 days
* This is a largely unsupervised role; you’ll need to self-motivate.
* Typically, two expensed annual away days.
* You’ll be regarded as an industry professional and be part of a driven team of experts.
* Working with an interesting and esteemed client base.
* The opportunity to progress and make a difference within the business.
* Along with pension, onsite carparking and all the usual benefits you would expect
