Health & Safety Manager (Glanville Environmental)
Location: Exeter - Hybrid
Position: Permanent, full-time

Glanville Environmental, an Adler & Allan Company, is seeking a proactive and motivated Health & Safety Manager for our Exeter depot. This role offers opportunities for skill development and career progression within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development of the company's ISO Health, Safety, and Environmental management system.
* Promote the 'All Safe' accident prevention culture.
* Identify training needs through inspections and incident analysis.
* Create and update SHEA documentation and templates.
* Manage SHEA Advisor(s) and SHEA Administrator.
* Develop and deliver SHEA training materials.
* Analyze SHEA data and prepare performance reports.
* Lead SHEA meetings and document minutes.
* Assist in developing Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
* Oversee supplier and subcontractor vetting and monitoring.
* Conduct site SHEA inspections and audits.
* Lead accident and incident investigations.
* Perform D&A testing as required.
* Provide SHEA advice to management and staff.
* Review occupational health records with HR.
* Assist with environmental compliance and carbon data collection.
Candidate Requirements:
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge of statutory legislation related to health and safety.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience in Construction or Civil Engineering is advantageous.
